Most of us are winding down to our last show of the year. We would like to make this show as prosperous and enjoyable for you as possible. We feel our selection of exhibitors this year will be a "shoppers' delight." Remember to play up the Christmas season with your booth theme. The entire Steinhauer family and their staff will have key jobs assisting you and making sure it runs smoothly.
500 quality arts and crafts booths with exhibitors from a 20 plus state area make this exciting show one of the largest and best in the south.
As always, there will be lots of good old fashioned cooking at the show. Selections will include catfish, shrimp, gumbo, jambalaya, seafood casserole, blooming onions, sausage, hamburgers, shrimp po-boys, polish sausage, barbecue, oriental, Greek foods, corn dogs, seafood pasta, funnel cakes, and hot fudge made on a slab. Fresh Louisiana oranges, kettle corn, pork skins and homemade ice cream will be sold outside, and don't forget to try the homeade jelly.

2022 applications will be given to you at this show. To assure your same booth spot for the following year, please fill it out with a $100 deposit per show and bring it to our new information booth located at the end of the large pavilion on the concrete area. Please select all of the shows you wish to do and you will have select choice.
Please be selective on what you bring to this show. If you are adding items other than what you have listed on your application, we must know. If you are selling a commercial product, and it has not been approved, you must call and talk to Sundra. Some commercial products are acceptable, and are considered good for the buying show.
Please now that if any exhibitor has not check in and set up by 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 2nd without contacting us of a later set up, your booth will be considered a NO SHOW and you will forfeit all paid booth fees.
SPECIAL NOTE: Even though show hours are advertised to begin at 9:00 AM each day, there is no way to keep waiting shopper's vehicles from blocking the highway traffic. Therefore, we require all booths to be set up and ready to operate by 8:30 AM each day. ALL BOOTHS ARE TO SET UP THURSDAY AND NO EARLY BREAKDOWNS UNTIL SUNDAY AFTER 5:00 PM. Shoppers will come as early as 7:30 AM to get the early selections and beat the traffic.
It is very important that you display your vehicle pass with booth number on the windshield/dash at all times and park in the designated exhibitor parking area for exhibitors. When you are finalizing your booth Friday morning, you must POSITIVELY park your vehicle in the exhibitor parking area.
We are asking each exhibitor to select one item to be a SHOW SPECIAL. At check in we will give you a small sign that will be placed with that item announcing your weekend special. Our advertising media will promote this special and shoppers will only enhance your show sales and prove to shoppers that the BEST SAVINGS will be at the show! NOT ONLINE!
Since we want lots of close parking for the customers, we ask that YOU FULLY COOPERATE with our parking rules. As soon as you unload, please move your vehicle to allow another vendor the ability to unload. We will attempt to place everyone as close to their same location as possible in the new pavilion and tent. We will be giving you the 2022 show application when you check in Thursday. Next year will be our 37th year and we are going to take up applications at this show for 2022. We ask that you fill the application out with the shows you will be doing with us next year with a $100 deposit for each show selected. The checks will not be cashed until next year but will reserve your space. Please bring the appliation in the envelope we give you to the information booth. This will assure your booth location.
The information booth will be located in the front of the large arena on the new concrete area.. When you approach the check in area please line up. All booth fees are to be paid prior to the show It speeds up check in tremendously. At this time have your $10 in cash for your occupational license fee if you have not already sent this in. You will receive your booth number and other materials at this time. New restrooms have been added next to the information booth. More improvements will be coming soon. A new fence has been added around the larger arena. Gates are at both arena ends to load in and out. You must not block the gates. If you have three or more booths please call us for additional information with moving in and out. Only larger booths can set up Wednesday.

The Fairgrounds gates never get locked at night because of RV camping (security provided).
We want this show to produce the look of a Christmas Village with everyone having their own special look. We cannot create this looks without your help and each exhibitor is responsible for creating their own 3-sided display. You may use your canopy to create your display. You must supply the booth, tables and chairs. Lawn chairs are not allowed. IMPORTANT: You are advised t bring indoor/outdoor carpet the size of your booth or ground covering of your choice.. If you bring flooring, you must take it with you when you take down on Sunday. Please DO NOT leave boxes or your garbage. Your booth must be a totally clean space when you move out. This includes zip ties for your grids. We are being forced to charge a clean up fee for those who leave us their booth trash.
If you have applied for or need electricity, you must supply a 100 foot extension cord and a multi system plug in outlet with its own circuit breaker system. The electricity will be supplied by generators and you are asked to use a 40 watt and under light bulb and only 120 are allowed per booth! Use led or low wattage bulbs that give you extra light! There is a $50.00 charge for electricity and it must be ordered prior to the show and marked on our application.
The Fairgrounds will have a designated area for motor homes. You must contact Sundra if you need a hook up and it must be paid in advance. The electric and water spots are $35 nightly and electric only are $24. Please contact Sundra if you need to order an RV hook up..
HEATER, GLUE GUNS AND COFFEE POTS:
Please do not bring a large glue gun, coffee pot heater or a heating blanket. It will blow your electric out.

You will receive both Parish and State Tax forms at the show. Please mail these forms in to the address listed on forms.
Take the Covington/Mandeville exit off I-12. Travel North on 1-90, go approximately 3 miles through Covington and continue over the overpass. Approximately 1 mile past the overpass to the left you will see the Covington Fairground show sign. Look for directional signs posted along the way.
GPS the St. Tammany Fairgrounds. 1301 North Florida Street | Covington, LA 70433 (this will bring you a different way t the Fairgrounds). If you are pulling a long trailer traveling 1-90, you may do best turning at Volvo Rental off 1-90 and pulling into the Fairgrounds.
